Corn starch processing is a complete set of mechanical equipment covering soaking, cleaning and feeding, crushing, multi-stage screening, dewatering and drying. Easy to operate and built for continuous, high-efficiency production, it forms the backbone of modern maize processing.
The main production process includes corn cleaning, steeping, grating, germ separation, grinding, starch screening, protein separation and starch washing, centrifugation and drying. Huatai provides medium and large corn starch production equipment together with complete solutions — from market research and product selection to factory design, equipment matching, installation, commissioning, production and packaging design.
We also supply all related machinery — cyclone screens, air dryers, separators and more — and engineer each line for maximum starch recovery and by-product utilization, turning corn germ into corn oil and fiber/gluten into high-value feed and protein meals.
From raw maize to dry starch powder — a fully integrated mechanical line.
Trucks deliver raw maize to a platform weigher; cleaning screens and magnetic separators remove stones, iron and foreign matter before the maize is elevated into storage silos.
Sulfur is burned to SO₂, absorbed in water to form sulfureous acid of specified concentration, stored and pumped into the steeping tanks as the steeping liquid.
Maize is steeped in sulfureous acid to soften the kernel; heavy impurities settle by gravity difference and are separated out before the wet maize moves on.
Steeped maize is fed into dewatering screens to recover steeping liquid, then ground in attrition mills to release germ and free the starch.
Hydrocyclones separate the germ, which is washed, dewatered and dried with steam; dry germ is packed and sold to oil mills for corn oil production.
The ground mass is milled to fully free starch; fiber is separated, dewatered and dried into a valuable animal-feed by-product.
After sand removal and rotary filtration, gluten separators and a 12-stage hydrocyclone group wash the starch milk to fully remove gluten.
Clean starch milk is dewatered by centrifuge; the wet starch cake is prepared for the drying system with minimal solids loss.
A hot-air-flow dryer, cyclone collector and screens evaporate residual water; the dry starch powder is cooled, screened and packed to specification.
Each system is designed and manufactured in-house under ISO 9001 quality management.
Platform weigher, cleaning screen, magnetic separator and steeping tanks with sulfureous-acid preparation for impurity removal and kernel softening.
Attrition mills, hydrocyclones and dewatering machines to release, separate and dry corn germ for corn oil recovery.
Pin mills and fiber screens separating and drying fiber into a high-value animal-feed by-product.
Gluten separators and a 12-stage hydrocyclone group washing starch milk to fully remove gluten and recover clean starch.
Centrifugal dewatering, hot-air-flow dryer, cyclone collector and screening producing food-grade dry starch powder.
Engineering innovations that deliver superior performance and lower operating costs.
A 12-stage hydrocyclone washing group and precise gluten separation maximize starch recovery and deliver high-purity starch milk.
Corn germ is recovered for corn oil, while fiber and gluten become animal feed and protein meals — turning the whole kernel into value.
From market research and product selection to factory design, equipment matching, installation, commissioning, production and packaging design under one supplier.
Henan Huatai Intelligent Equipment Group was founded in 1988 and has grown into one of China’s major grain and oil machinery manufacturing enterprises. We integrate research and development, engineering design, equipment manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning under one roof.
Our 100,000㎡ manufacturing campus in Hua County, Henan Province houses modern production lines with CNC machining centers, automated welding systems and comprehensive quality testing laboratories. As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, every piece of equipment undergoes rigorous inspection and factory acceptance testing before shipment.
We specialize in complete EPC turn-key projects covering the full spectrum of edible oil processing — from oilseed pretreatment and solvent extraction through to refining, fractionation and by-product utilization.
