Drag chain extractor is used for extracting oil of a variety of oilseeds, structure characteristic is to separate the superstratum and substratum of ring structure merged into a unified box-type structure, permeability is good, the residual oil rate can reach 0.6-0.8%.
Drag chain extractor or towline extractor is a continuous ommersion type extractor. The drag chain drags the materials to run for one cycle in the extractor to cmplete the extraction process. Towline extractor is suitable for large-scale oil extraction plant. It is suitable for direct extraction of soybean, rice bran, etc, and pre-pressing extraction of cottonseed, rapeseeds, sesame, camellia seed, tung seed, sunflower seeds, corn germ, grape seed, etc, as well as alcohol extraction of protein.

Drag chain extractor advantages
1. Towline extractor has strong adaptability to raw materials. Especially suitable for oilseeds with high oil content and large fines content, having better extraction effect for common oilseeds.

3. The materials are segmented into several independent units on the bed, effectively prevents various grades of miscella from flowing between the material layers, ensuring the concentration gradient between the percolation segements.

5. The materials are fully turned in the towline extractor, good permeability, uniform extraction, low residue oil rate below 0.8%.
The transmission structure of chain extractor consists of three points, that’s the driving sprocket-wheel, the driven sprocket-wheel, and the tension sprocket-wheel. Due to the large horizontal distance between the tensioning wheel and the driving wheel, the transmission reliability of the chain and the driving sprocket is formed.
